Nichola is the Office and Finance Manager and co-owner of the company alongside Josh. In her multi-faceted role, she oversees financial reporting, accounts payable, payroll, and a variety of administrative functions. Nichola also manages the Dental and Medical Service team and is responsible for managing client relationships, coordinating service schedules and contracts, managing inventory, and liaising with suppliers to ensure the timely availability of parts and materials. Nichola’s leadership ensures that the Dental and Medical Service team operates smoothly and efficiently, delivering high-quality service to clients. Her strategic insights and keen attention to detail are vital to the company’s success, ensuring both efficiency and the continued maintenance of high standards.

Colin is an experienced electrician with over 20 years in the industry, bringing exceptional people and leadership skills to our team. As Operations Manager, he ensures the smooth operation of this busy department by working closely with our electrical team, our customers, and suppliers to deliver top-notch service and maintain high standards. His commitment to customer satisfaction and team efficiency is unmatched. Beyond his role in management, Colin also leads our Solar PV division, Solar Smart Energy. He is dedicated to providing customers with customised, Solar PV system designs that meet their unique needs and oversees the entire installation process – ensuring that every project is executed flawlessly from start to finish. Rebecca is the Service Team Manager, bringing over 16 years of experience and dedication to our company. She works closely with Colin, our Operations Manager, to ensure the smooth and efficient management of our busy Service Team. Rebecca’s role is pivotal in coordinating and overseeing all service operations, ensuring that every job is attended to promptly and professionally. Gareth is an Estimator with over 33 years of experience in the commercial, light industrial, and domestic areas of the electrical field. Having immigrated from Somerset, UK, to New Zealand in 2003, Gareth has gained extensive experience working throughout the South Island before settling with his family in the Nelson/Tasman region. His exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with clients are key assets in his role. Gareth is responsible for providing accurate quotes across all facets of the electrical industry, ensuring that every project is priced competitively and reflects the highest standards of quality. He also plays a vital role in supporting the Operations Manager, contributing to the smooth and efficient running of day-to-day business operations. Jon brings over 26 years of experience in the electrical industry, with a diverse background that highlights his expertise and adaptability. His career includes managing high-profile government contracts in Wellington, where he was responsible for both electrical and data components, requiring a high degree of security and trust. He also led a successful electrical business in the Waikato for over 8 years, where he honed his skills in business management and customer relations before moving to Nelson with his family in 2014. Currently, Jon leverages his dynamic skill set in Quantity Surveying and Project Management, where he excels in coordinating and overseeing projects from inception to completion. Known for his exceptional problem-solving abilities, Jon takes pride in developing innovative solutions that address the unique challenges of each project.
